A 5-kilometre-long national monument
De Zeelandbrug is 5 kilometres long and a national monument consisting of 54 piles with 52 spans each 95 metres long. The province of Zeeland commissioned the bridge to be built to replace the ferry from Zierikzee to Kats. It’s a wonderful experience to drive across the bridge, but it's also a miracle to behold from the shore.
