The cottage is located in the heart of a food forest built on hügelkultur. A wide variety of plants, shrubs, fast-growing trees, and herbs can be picked and enjoyed during your stay. The landscape changes with the seasons, bringing nature close throughout the year. You will hear birds singing, see butterflies among the flowers, and experience the tranquility of staying in the middle of nature. It is a place where slowing down comes naturally.

EXPERIENCE ONS BUITEN
On the grounds, you will find amenities such as slow coffee, wellness facilities, and a natural pool. You are surrounded by a unique nature development landscape where nature-inclusive living and recreation come together. Nature is not merely a backdrop here; it is an active part of the experience. Landscape, biodiversity, and accommodation form one harmonious whole.
The pool and wellness facilities are included with your stay and feel like a natural part of the daily rhythm. In the BINNEN RUIMTE, you can also enjoy meditation sessions, massages, and other treatments.
Staying in a cottage is also ideal for a workation, whether on your own or with colleagues. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the site. You can work from a picnic table in the food forest or from the BINNEN RUIMTE while enjoying an organic coffee or freshly picked mint tea.
The North Sea beach is just a 10-minute bike ride away. You are also surrounded by remarkable nature reserves such as De Manteling and Oranjezon. This allows you to stay in a holiday cabin close to the sea while being immersed in nature and enjoying the peace and quiet of the grounds.

SUSTAINABLE HOLIDAY COTTAGE
The cottages accommodate up to three or four guests and offer generous, comfortable living space. Each cottage has recently undergone a careful upcycling process, combining reclaimed natural materials with warm tones and a contemporary design.
Large sliding windows and expansive corner glazing allow plenty of natural light inside while creating a strong connection between indoors and outdoors. From the living room, you step directly onto your private veranda, overlooking the growing food forest and the green landscape surrounding the property.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, four-burner stove, kettle, tableware, cutlery, and a Nespresso machine. There are two bedrooms with a total of three or four beds.

COTTAGE WITH CHILDREN
The cottages are also well suited for families with children. One single bed can be converted into a child’s bed, and an additional children's bed can be added upon request.
The grounds of ONS BUITEN are designed with nature in mind, offering plenty of space to wander, explore, and disappear into adventure. There is a mud-and-water playground as well as an indoor play area.
