The thorough up-cycle of the HUISJES OP 'T VELD and the surrounding area has been successfully completed. After the adjustments, the accommodations are representative of what ONS BUITEN stands for: peace, space and a natural environment. For example, natural materials have been used for furniture, floor and accessories. The layout has also been adjusted to create more space. Recycled elements have been used where possible and local partners have been involved.
The environment has been given a different decoration and has therefore changed in character. Read more about this in the news item about the hügels. In a few years, there will be vegetation here according to the food forest idea, with fruit trees, herbs and shrubs with edible berries. The first green with colorful flowers will appear from this spring and then increase in volume every year.
Name change
After this upgrade, the accommodations have also been given a different name. A name has been chosen that indicates exactly what it is: HUISJE. The number (3 or 4) after the name indicates the capacity.
They are decorated in a natural, neutral taste to accommodate the individuality of the guests themselves. Also, no standard 'concept' or 'styling trend' has been applied, but it is purely based on what is appropriate to the ideas of ONS BUITEN.
The aspect 'on the field' has been dropped, because the environment now has more of a hill/hügel character with lots of privacy and 'vistas'.
