We are proud of this: the switch from conventional soft drinks from the refrigerator to 100% organic and local via the tap.

Thanks to the combination of tap water (via a KRNWTR+ installation) and organic, Zeeland syrups from Searoop we can now serve delicious soft drinks in various flavours.

In this way we contribute to the reduction of plastic production and CO2 emissions. Much needed. because let's show it again with hard numbers:

CO2 PER LITER SOFT DRINK

• glass (single use) - 260 gr.
• can (single use) - 210 gr.
• plastic (single use) - 160 gr.
• glass (reusable) - 120 gr.
• beverage carton (single use) - 110 gr.

PLASTIC

• Every minute 1,000,000 (1 million!) plastic bottles are consumed worldwide.
• 33% of all plastic is only used once.
• Every year, 9,000,000,000 tons of plastic (nine billion kilos!) end up in the oceans.

Our switch may therefore seem like a drop in the ocean, but in this case many drops make clean oceans!
